A Letter from Eleanor
There is a small garden path behind the conservatory where little seems to change from one morning to the next. The soil rests quietly beneath its blanket of leaves, and only those who return day after day begin to notice the subtle signs of life.
A single green shoot appears where there was only earth yesterday.
A bud swells ever so slightly upon a familiar branch.
The birds arrive a little earlier with each passing dawn.
None of these moments demand attention, yet together they tell a beautiful story.
So much of the Lord's work unfolds in this same gentle way.
We often wish to leap from planting to harvest, from prayer to answer, from uncertainty to understanding. Yet our Heavenly Father is seldom hurried. He faithfully tends the unseen places before revealing the bloom.
Perhaps waiting is not merely the absence of movement.
Perhaps it is where the deepest growth begins.

Reflection
Waiting is rarely comfortable.
We live in a world that celebrates speed, immediate answers, and visible success. Yet throughout Scripture we find that God often works differently.
Seeds rest beneath the soil before they become flowers.
Trees spend years strengthening their roots before offering generous shade.
Faith matures through ordinary days that may appear uneventful to everyone else.
The quiet seasons are not wasted seasons.
While we cannot always see what God is doing, He continues working beneath the surface—shaping our hearts, strengthening our trust, and preparing us for what lies ahead.
If today's path feels slow, remember that slow does not mean forgotten.
Every faithful step matters.
Every quiet prayer is heard.
Every season has its purpose.

Take a quiet moment today and ask yourself:
Where might God be inviting me to trust His timing instead of my own?
Write your thoughts in your journal, preserve a pressed flower, or simply sit quietly for a few moments, allowing your heart to rest.
